Avi's Ambassador Project: Outdoor Intellect Club
Location: Las Vegas, USA. My project is running a club in my school called the Outdoor Intellect Club or OINC in short. The club is focused on making my school more environmentally sustainable, and also participating in ways to help in environmental conservation outside of school. Location: Santa Rosa de Agua Maracaibo, Zulia State, Venezuela. The purpose is to foster environmental restoration of the Lake Maracaibo ecosystem and strengthen the social fabric of Santa Rosa de Agua by implementing integrated waste management solutions, access to safe drinking water, and infrastructure rehabilitation anchored in active community participation and sustainable income generation.

Location: Makabe, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Solar Water Disinfection (SODIS) is a simple, low cost, and scientifically validated method for making contaminated water safe to drink. It uses solar UV radiation and heat to destroy harmful microorganisms.

Location: Manguo Slum, Nyahururu, Laikipia County, Kenya. Raise Awareness: Educate at least 80% of Manguo Slum residents on the environmental and health impacts of improper waste disposal and the importance of protecting the Uwaso Ngiro River within 12 months.

Location: Palo Alto, CA USA. Growing up in California I have gained a unique love for the ocean and water, yet I have also realized the strong impacts this has on our community. I hope to petition the reopening of a community pool in my small town to act as a gateway to water education. With experience in Child Development and lifeguarding, I have seen first hand the utter importance of water safety, especially for our youth.

Francis's Ambassador Project: Environmental Education and Community Action for Access to Safe Water
Location: Far North Region of Cameroon. The project will be implemented in critical communities in the Far North Region of Cameroon, including the villages of Sara-Sara (Mayo-Danay), Mazavou (Mayo-Tsanaga), and selected localities in the Diamaré and Mayo-Sava departments. These communities are particularly vulnerable to water-related crises due to frequent flooding, severe drought, and limited access to safe drinking water.


Poonam's Ambassador Project: Mula Mutha Revival
Location: Mundwa Community in Pune. In 2021, the Mula Mutha Revival team created a questionnaire for primary research in which we interviewed locals around the Mula Mutha River as a way to not only promote awareness in the community but also to learn about the concerns of community members. During these conversations, one person said, "college students come and do this project for some time and then are done, [they leave and forget about the issue].”

Rajasthan is the largest state in India. It is known as the Desert State. 70% of Rajasthan, including the Jodhpur area, is in the Thar Desert. The Thar Desert is one of the most populous deserts in the world. It is also the leading Indian state in the use of renewable energy with its solar energy farms and wind turbines. Water, food, nutrition, and health are the primary concerns for the rural villages and tribal areas which are mostly engaged in farming and animal husbandry.
