What is the WWH Ambassador Program?
The Water and Climate Change Ambassador Program is an initiative designed to educate and empower high school students to become leaders in water conservation and climate change action. Through this program students learn about critical water-related challenges, such as scarcity, flooding, pollution, and the impacts of climate change, while developing leadership and advocacy skills. Participants engage in hands-on projects, community outreach and education, and information on sustainable practices in the community, while collaborating with other environmental organizations.
The program requires a commitment for a school year (fall through spring) and encourages young ambassadors to make an impact locally (and globally) for a sustainable future.
WWH will eventually expand and adjust the program for senior citizens, college students, and other adult groups.
